Corporate Responsibility isn’t just about donating money to charity or not printing a report or switching off the lights. It’s about cultivating relationships with staff, clients, vendors and other interested parties, encouraging them to work together to create a long-term commitment to people and the world around us.
KEO runs a program of CSR-related events and activities throughout the year under the banner of KARES. KARES was conceived to enhance the growth of the KEO family, creating the spirit of community throughout the firm as well as benefiting selected causes.
Corporate Responsibility Initiatives
International Literacy Day
KEO believes literacy is a fundamental human right. It is the foundation for lifelong learning, at the heart of basic education for all. We strive to give the gift of literacy through book sales every September in recognition of International Literacy Day.
World Hunger Day
Global hunger afflicts nearly a billion people worldwide. At least one million children die from malnutrition-related causes annually. On 28th May every year, KARES invites staff to skip their lunch in aid of World Hunger Day.
Earth Day means it’s time for KEO to clear out its closets. Collection boxes are located in every KEO office for the month of April each year. Staff donate clothes they no longer need or want and KARES makes sure they go to a good home.
Fundraising for Breast Cancer
Raising funds and awareness for breast cancer is an important October tradition at KEO. The disease is a major health threat to both women and men. We are committed to helping to fund programs at top cancer centers focused on cutting-edge research.
World Blood Donor Day
Blood donors help save lives every day. KEO strongly advocates giving blood for World Blood Donor Day, organizing drives for staff to participate in.
